The Way of Live : ウィキペディア英語版
The Way of Live

is the third remix album by P-MODEL. It is composed of remixes of P-MODEL songs from their third to their eighth albums (with the exception of ''SCUBA'', which was entirely remixed and re-released the following year in a different style as ''SCUBA RECYCLE'') made in the style of the "Defrosted" P-MODEL, arranged by P-MODEL keyboardist Hikaru Kotobuki. The album was mixed and mastered to bring out harshness and loudness, trying to replicate the tension and the intensity of the live shows of the "Defrosted" P-MODEL as perceived by the band (in the liner notes Hirasawa recommends saying the band's traditional "good evening" greeting after the first three tracks are played). Remixes were also made by the "Revised" P-MODEL for their shows, but they didn't get a release like the "Defrosted" P-MODEL remixes did; the ''ENDING ERROR'' video release (and, to a lesser extent, the other two video releases of the "Revised" P-MODEL), which is composed mostly of older P-MODEL songs performed in the "Revised" style, somewhat served as a spiritual successor to ''The Way of LIVE''. The ''VIRTUAL LIVE'' trilogy of albums released in 1999 continued the concept of replicating the live experience in studio. ''The Way of LIVE'' got a proper sequel in 2014 with ''The Method of the LIVE 2: The Magic for introduction''.

Besides these songs, the "Defrosted" P-MODEL performed other songs from their older albums (including ''IN A MODEL ROOM'', ''LANDSALE'' and ''SCUBA'') that did not receive studio remixes.
The ''BITMAP 1979-1992'' video had, besides a Defrosted version of "Zebra", a Defrosted version of (from ''LANDSALE''); the ''Pause'' album had, besides a Defrosted version of "Zebra", Defrosted versions of "Solid air" (from ''Perspective''), (from ''ANOTHER GAME'') and (from ''Potpourri'').
There were also songs that have never been officially released but were played in live shows: "KAMEARI POP" (from ''IN A MODEL ROOM''), (from ''LANDSALE''), "BOAT" (from ''SCUBA''), (from ''IN A MODEL ROOM''), "LOOPING OPPOSITION" (from ''SCUBA''). Besides these songs, the Defrosted P-MODEL also performed their version of "Train" with a bass guitar on the tour.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://moderoom.fascination.co.jp/archives/p_live_90-93.txt )
